온라인 적성검사를 이용한 표준화검사 개발

컴퓨터와 정보통신망을 이용한 온라인검사의 개발시, 지필검사와 컴퓨터화 검사간에 문항모 수치에 대한 동등성이 보장되지 않은채, 지필검 사의 문항모수 추정치를 온라인검사의 모수 추정치에 사용하면 심각한 문제를 야기시킬 수 있 다. 본 연구는 지필검사 형태로 제작된 검사를 온라인검사로 변환시킨 후, 적성검사 온라인 시 스템을 통해 검사에 응시한 사람들을 대상으로하여 표준화된 온라인 적성검사를 제작하는 것 을 주된 내용으로 하고 있다.

적성검사 시스템은 클라이언트용 프로그램, 서버용 프로그램, 웹상에서 두 프로그램의 상호작 용이 원활하도록 만든 프로그램의 세 영역으로 나누어 개발되었다. 클라이언트용 프로그램은 홈 페이지로 제작되었고, 서버용 프로그램은 C언어로 개발되었다. 두 프로그램의 상호작용이 원활 하도록 만든 프로그램은 CGI(Common Gateway Interface)가 사용되어 웹상의 http://psychtest.educyber.org에 구현되었다. 온라인으로 검사에 응시한 사람 중 본 표준화 연구에 사용된 표본은 N=11,917이었다.

온라인 적성검사는 고등학생 이상의 성인을 대상으로 하여 언어적성(어휘력, 언어추리), 수리적 성(계산력, 수추리), 공간적성(공간지각, 공간추리), 색채적성(색채지각) 등의 7개의 하위검사로, 총 83개의 문항으로 구성되어 있다. 문항의 양호도를 알아보기 위하여 기초적 통계값, 문항- 하위 영역간 상관계수, 문항- 전체검사간 상관계수, 신뢰도분석, 요인분석을 통한 구인타당도 검증을 실 시하였고, 성별, 집단별로 규준을 제공하였다.

The On-line Aptitude Tests were developed for educational and career counsels of high and college school students, and adults. The on-line test compared to paper-pencil test has several strong points. First , because the test can use various colors, it can be attractive to the respondents. Second, any respondent can take the test individually at appropriate place at any time. Third, the test results and interpretations are given right after testing. Fourth, test results are accumulated automatically as data for future analysis. Fifth, individual informations can be securely protected in on- line test compare to paper - pencil test.

The purpose of this study was to standardize the Computerized Aptitude T ests using item parameters obtained by on- line sampling methods. On development and standardization the on- line psychological tests, if samples obtained from paper- pencil test instead of samples by on- line methods were used without convincing that item parameters of paper- pencil and computerized tests are equal, the results may be misleading.

For the On- line Aptitude Tests, the client programs were developed in forms of homepages. The server programs were also developed using Postgress SQL with C language. Interactions of the client - server programs have been tested and implemented on world wide web as http://psychtest.educyber.org.

The aptitude tests include 7 subtests : Vocabulary, Verbal Reasoning, Calculation, Numerical Reasoning, Space Perception, Space Reasoning, Color Perception. 83 items were included for this test. 11,917 subjects were nation-widely sampled by on- line sampling methods.

The mean difficulty levels for each test were 0.55∼0.77, and the mean discrimination indices of each test were 0.45∼0.72. The subtests of numerical and space aptitude show high discrimination indices, but verbal and color subtests show low values. The indices of reliability were respectively .87 for high school, .83 for college students , and .85 for adults. Also, correlations between subtests and composite score, construct validity, and norms were calculated.
